Borgo Laudato Si' covers about 135 acres of gardens, villas, archaeological sites and farmland at Castel Gandolfo.
It is run by the Laudato Si' Center for Higher Education and offers training in hospitality, livestock care, gardening and processing agricultural products, prioritizing people who have been excluded.
It relies on third-party investments that meet climate-awareness criteria, according to Religion News Service.
